Academic Year in Freiburg

Hey AYFers!!

I'm going to add a new section under the user profile to add your AYF year!

So! That will be coming soon!

Pass out the site to anyone you think might be interested and upload some pictures!

Feel free to make any suggestions you might have for improving the site and making it more user friendly, and we'll see what we can do!

Hey guys!

I didn't want to go overboard and post directions if no one needed them.

So, here's a quick run-through
From the beginning...
Click on "no thumbnail" and this will bring you into your album

From here you can simply add items, or you can create multiple 'albums'. The menu is off to the left.
To create an album, click on "Add Album"

Here you can either click on the "Add a photo" in the middle of the page, or on the left click on 'add items'

This will bring you to a screen w/multiple tabs. You can either (the ones that I find the easiest to use) use the "from web browser" tab and navigate to each picture individually. (Only use this to upload if you have a few pix)

OR!

If you have java on your computer, click on the "Upload Applet". (If you don’t have java but want to install it, it should give you that option in the window) At the bottom of the left hand column there’s an “add pictures button, that will let you browse to your pictures. You can highlight all the ones you want (either hold Control + left click to select random pictures, or Shift + left click will highlight a series of photos), and click 'add'. Once the files appear in the left hand column, click on the "upload" button, and this will start the upload. It takes a while, and I wouldn't recommend it w/a dialup connection, but if you have a fast internet connection, it'll be fine. Still takes a bit, but I like this way.

Feel free to play around w/it to get a feel for it.
